DZ Restaurants is seeking an experienced Sommelier with a genuine passion for the hospitality industry, wine and people. The ideal candidate must have the ability to maintain our highest standards of service. The Sommelier will work on the floor supporting the staff with an emphasis on recommending wines and spirits to the guests. This position is responsible for supporting management with the development of wines and spirits.
The Sommelier will train the staff and work closely with the management team to create special wine and spirits programs. This position requires a solid understanding of steps of service, pricing, budgets and cost control. This position will assist the manager with the opening and closing operations of the restaurant and other aspects of service as needed to support the team.
- 1-2 years fine dining experience in a Sommelier or wine focused position
