Carina’s passion for hospitality began at a young age. She worked her way through all levels of the business since the age of 15 and eventually found her calling in event planning. Ice cream scooper, server, barista, floor manager, and owner… Carina’s love for the industry and its components are what drives her. Before coming to DZ, she worked as the Event Planner of 121 Fulton Street Restaurant in the Financial District of Manhattan, then as Director of Events for a popular NYC-based hospitality group’s New Jersey properties. Her favorite part of event planning is connecting with the guests. Planning their important life events and getting to know them during the process is the best part!
Carina moved to Saratoga Springs with her family in 2018 and loves it here more than she ever could have imagined. She had two sons who keep her on her toes and, according to her, are the most fun and wonderful boys on earth. She and her husband own Gennaro’s Pizza Parlor, love attending concerts at SPAC, enjoying the local restaurant scene, and traveling.
