This year’s our Backpack Program efforts raised $1861 for the Stillwater School District. This amount was generously matched by Anthony Ianniello, who is a partner in the law firm of Ianniello Anderson, P.C. for a total donation of $3661! It is very common for students to receive breakfast and lunch at school and not eat again until returning to school the following day. The Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York BackPack Program helps alleviate child hunger by discreetly providing hungry students with backpacks full of nutritious and easy-to-prepare food on Friday afternoons so the students have food to eat throughout the weekend. We are so grateful to be able to help these children every year. Thank you to everyone who made this possible.
