On Sunday June 8th, 2014 from 1:00pm – 3:00pm Boca Bistro, a DZ Restaurant, will host a Wine & Food Tasting event to celebrate its Two Year Anniversary called “New York Corks”. The event is priced at $15 per person with $10 from every ticket sold going to benefit Parker Sweeney Conquers Chiari.
The Sweeney family was recently told that their 10 month-old son Parker was diagnosed with a very serious neurological condition known as Chiari Malformation. Parker will need surgery in the coming months, and his family will incur costs associated with his condition over his lifetime.
10 Wineries and over 40 wine tastings will be featured in this event. Some of the featured New York Wineries will include The Brotherhood Winery located in Washingtonville, Bully Hill Vineyards from Hammondsport in New York’s Finger Lakes Region, Thirsty Owl Wine Company, Swedish Hill Winery, Duck Walk Vineyards, Adirondack Winery located in Lake George, and Mount Felix Vineyard & Winery.
