DZ Restaurants Donates over $3000 to Local Non-Profits

Through its Raising Dough fundraising program DZ Restaurants contributed over $3000 for three local Non-Profit Organizations including The Adult & Senior Center of Saratoga, The Lymphoma & Leukemia Society, and Rebuilding together Saratoga County.

The Adult & Senior Center of Saratoga was the February recipient of the DZ Restaurants Raising Dough Program and was presented with a check for $1313. Adults age 50 and over can join The Adult & Senior Center and participate in programs, trips & social activities tailored to adults and seniors. The social interaction provided at the Center is essential to physical and mental health.

Rebuilding together Saratoga County was the March recipient of the Raising Dough and raised $791. Rebuilding Together Saratoga County is a volunteer driven, non-profit organization that brings communities and volunteers together to make repairs to the homes of low income property owners, particularly the elderly and disabled, allowing them to live in warmth, safety and independence, while respecting their dignity.

The Lymphoma & Leukemia Society was the April recipient of the Raising Dough Program and raised $1,315. The mission of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) is to Cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.

Raising Dough is DZ Restaurants’ charitable program designed to support local charities and non-profit organizations. Each month a non-profit organization is featured in the program and DZ Restaurants contribute 30% of sales at one of its restaurants on the final Sunday of the month. Up to an additional $1000 can also be raised through a social media component of the program.

Since 1998 DZ Restaurants has raised over $100,000 through fundraising initiatives for the Saratoga Springs and Clifton Park communities.
