Through fundraising programs at all of our restaurant locations DZ Restaurants has raised over $4000 for four local Non-Profit Organizations including Saratoga Center for the Family, Franklin Community Center, Make-A-Wish of Northeastern New York, and the Saratoga Hospital Community Health Resource Center.
Saratoga Center for the Family was the June recipient of the DZ Restaurants Raising Dough Program and was also the highlighted charity during Boca Bistro’s recent New York Corks Wine Tasting Event, an exclusive wine tasting event to celebrate Boca Bistro’s One-Year Anniversary and the Wines of New York State. The $1287 that was raised will go to help Saratoga Center for the Family rebuild after a devastating fire destroyed the basement at the center, which houses the Child Advocacy Center.
Saratoga Hospital Community Health Resource Center was the April recipient of the DZ Restaurants Raising Dough Program which raised $1260. The mission of the Saratoga Hospital Community Health Resource Center is to provide high-quality, affordable primary health care with complementary medical and social services to any individual who needs it regardless of ability to pay.
Make-A-Wish Foundation of Northeastern New York was the May recipient of the DZ Restaurants Raising Dough Program and raised $1,176. Since 1980, the Make-A-Wish Foundation has given hope, strength and joy to children with life-threatening medical conditions.
Franklin Community Center was the July recipient of the DZ Restaurants Raising Dough Program and raised $556. Franklin Community Center is a Non-Profit Organization Providing Basic Necessities and Services to Less Fortunate Individuals and Families in Saratoga.
Raising Dough is DZ Restaurants’ charitable program designed to support local charities and non-profit organizations. Each month a non-profit organization is featured in the program and DZ Restaurants contribute 30% of sales at all four if its restaurants on the fourth Sunday of the month. Up to an additional $1000 can also be raised through a social media component of the program.
Since 1998 DZ Restaurants has raised nearly $100,000 through fundraising initiatives for the Saratoga Springs and Clifton Park communities.
