Owners of DZ Restaurants David & Roslyn Zecchini announced today that on Friday, March 1, 2013, Boca Bistro will open its doors for lunch, providing downtown Saratoga Springs and surrounding communities a much anticipated lunchtime alternative.
Located in Saratoga Springs the contemporary Spanish restaurant will offer its lunch menu for sit-down and take-out daily at 11: 30 a.m. Reservations will be accepted for lunch.
Opened in June of 2012, Boca Bistro is a member of the DZ Restaurants family which includes Chianti Ristorante and Forno Bistro in Saratoga Springs and Pasta Pane in Clifton Park.
Boca Bistro’s lunch menu, developed by Executive Chef Roslyn Zecchini, offers a variety of Bocatos (sandwiches) served on house-made baguettes with toppings such as imported Serrano ham, flat iron steak, and pulled pork. The lunch menu also includes a full selection of Boca Bistro’s signature Ensaladas (salads) including the Ensalada Manzana (apple salad) and the Ensalada Datile y Serrano (dates & ham salad) along with Boca’s complete assortment of Embuditos (prepared Spanish meats), Quesos (cheeses) and Postres (desserts). “So many of our guests have long been requesting that at least one of our restaurants open for lunch. Based on the location of Boca Bistro opening for lunch was always in the plan which will allow our guests and the downtown business community alike an opportunity to dine in a DZ restaurant during lunch hours.” said Zecchini “The uniqueness of the space creates the same energy during lunch for which we are known during dinner. The style of the menu will appeal to the downtown lunch crowd and being open all day will enable us to have a greater presence with the local community and business owners.”
Boca Bistro blends vintage Spanish elements with a distinctive contemporary spirit. Through a mosaic of earthen and distressed textures, stylistic accents and a touch of Mediterranean influence Boca Bistro embodies the charismatic essence of an authentic old-world restaurant.
Boca Bistro seats 95-100 guests and offers an intimate street-level sidewalk patio along with private and semi-private event space. Boca Bistro is currently open 7 days a week for dinner at 5pm and also features Happy Hour from 4:30pm-6pm Monday – Saturday and 4:30 – Close on Sunday.
