Forno Bistro in Saratoga Springs reopened Friday (3/17) following a 17-day renovation that was still being completed minutes before the first customers arrived. Owner David Zecchini tells me this week’s snowstorm put a project that had been ahead of schedule by several days at least a day behind; some equipment was still being delivered overnight Thursday into Friday.
Zecchini, who also owns Chianti Ristorante and Boca Bistro, both in Saratoga, declined to specify a budget for the interior overhaul, saying with a laugh, “I don’t know yet. I’m afraid to see that number. We had 60 people working last week.”
