On Sunday, October 12th our guests spent a memorable Sunday afternoon in an idyllic Autumn setting for our first annual “Meet the Chefs of DZ Restaurants at The DZ Farm”. This glorious autumnal event was staged under nature’s chromatic canopy and presented in a casually elegant style.
Upon arriving, guests were greeted with a champagne toast on the banks of the DZ Farm koi pond after which many visited the open bar in our agrestic horse barn while others toured the grounds and walked the many trails that wind throughout the property.
Throughout the day the lilting strum of an acoustic guitar echoed through the property, skimmed across the surface of the beaver pond and and could be heard deep into the woods.
At dinner we filled plates and hearts at the Chef’s Tasting Stations and while many enjoyed the meal sitting at a rustic farm tables, many others stood at vintage whiskey barrel high-tops placed around the campfire.
At the end of the day we all warmed ourselves in the glow of the field stone fire pit, the harvest sunset, and the ever-present gift of family and friendship. See a collection of photos from the event.
After spending Sunday on The DZ Farm, two of our guests even scheduled weddings and another guest a rehearsal dinner.
