DZ Restaurants is excited to announce the promotion of Michele Brown to the position of Director of Sales.
As the Director of Sales, Michele will oversee and manage the sales and coordination of private events for all four DZ Restaurant locations including Chianti Il Ristorante, Forno Bistro, Boca Bistro, and Pasta Pane. She is also responsible for directing and coordinating sales-related activities at The DZ Farm; a 65 acre farm in Galway, NY where DZ Restaurants will offer hands-on educational experiences for all through outings and retreats, team building activities, boot camps, cooking schools, agricultural workshops, and culinary adventures.
Prior to joining DZ Restaurants Michele attended the University of Connecticut and graduated with a design degree. Her expertise in design allowed her to work as a senior sales executive for Liz Claiborne, Inc. in New York City for seven years. Michele also used her creative side to design kitchens for many builders and homeowners in the area for a number of years.
“I always try to find ways to exceed the expectations of the guests while finding solutions that work for all our team members. I want each guest to feel special when they come to a DZ Restaurant; as if they were coming to my home as a guest.” said Michele of her role as Director of Sales, “Most importantly our guests should come away feeling like they were the only ones in the restaurant that evening.”
Outside of the workplace, she is an avid tennis player and served as president of the Saratoga Rowing Association, one of the largest scholastic rowing clubs in the country.
