Mick Gregg named new Director of Operations for DZ Restaurants

mickBioDZ Restaurants is excited to announce the promotion of Mick Gregg to the position of Director of Operations.

As the Director of Operations, Mick will provide leadership, guidance and operational support to all restaurant managers while mentoring restaurant performance and ensuring standards are maintained.

Mick will also oversee that each restaurant manager is in compliance with company standards in all areas of operation including guest relations, restaurant maintenance and repair, inventory management, recruiting and retention of team members, financial accountability, assurance that they highest quality product and services are delivered to each guest.

Mick joined DZ Restaurants in 2006 as restaurant manager at Forno Bistro.  In 2007 he was promoted to General Manager of DZ Restaurants.

Prior to joining DZ Restaurants Mick earned his English Literature degree at Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry, NY. He began working in restaurants in 1987 at the Chart House Restaurant on the Hudson River where he was head trainer and dining room manager.  In 1999, Mick and his family relocated to Saratoga Springs where he accepted a management position at Longfellow’s.  Mick furthered his management career by joining the team at Sargo’s at Saratoga National Golf Course.
